DBS-qPCR HT Chip

With the size similar to a microtiter plate, a DBS-qPCR HT chip has 16 droplet channels capable of running up to 16 PCR simultaneously. A chip is typically filled with Silicone oil before sample droplets are loaded onto the chip. This prevents cross contamination between different reaction droplets as well as contamination from the environment.

A DBS-qPCR HT instrument enables multiplexed qPCR by providing multiple excitation light sources. The basic configuration of a current DBS-qPCR HThas two excitation wavelengths– 488nm and 640nm.
